Contlicts for Land and Territory: An Analysis of Internal Migration in the Rural Areas of Colombia
AbstractThis article compiles some elements of analysis on the problems of displacement of the rural population in Colombia. To that end, we gathered quantitative and testimonial data and articulated perspectives at national and local levels. Four aspects are discussed: conflicts for land and territory, some characteristics of the displaced population, the uncertainty of the alternatives and the government presence and role.
